Return Policy
Note: All returns must be accompanied by their original receipts.
Important dates:
New Textbooks

Summer 2010: All new textbooks purchased between April 19 and August 13, 2010 for summer 2010 courses will be subject to a 2-week return policy.

Fall 2010: New textbooks purchased between August 14 and October 8 may be returned until Friday, October 8, 2010.
- Winter 2011: New textbooks purchased between December 13 2010 and February 4 2011 may be returned until Friday, February 4, 2011.
New textbooks purchased in between returnable purchase periods or after the specified dates may be returned only if the book is found to have a manufacturer's defect. See the Returns Criteria table below for more information.
Used Textbooks
Used books may be returned in saleable condition within three (3) days of their purchase.
Liquidation books
Books purchased from the Agora's liquidation inventory are final sale.
General Reference, Non-fiction, and Fiction Books
General reference, non-fiction, and fiction books (i.e. Non-textbooks) may be returned within two (2) weeks of purchase. See the Returns Criteria table below for more information.
School & Office Supplies
School and office supplies may be returned within two (2) weeks of purchase if unopened, unused, or defective. See the Returns Criteria table below for more information.
Items which cannot be refunded or returned unless they are found to have a manufacturer's defect
- Access codes sold separately
- Special ordered items
- Rytec course packs and any photocopies
- Computer supplies (The defective item must be returned within one week of purchase and must be accompanied by its original packaging.)
Promotional or discounted items
Promotional or discounted items are final sale. No refunds or exchanges.
Return and exchange criteria:
- If the book/item was purchased wrapped, it must be returned in its original wrapping still sealed.
- All additional materials included with the book/item must accompany the book for return, i.e. CD, web access card, etc., which must be unopened and unused.
- Any stains, discoloration or marks of any kind on either the inside or outside of the book/item will render the book/item unacceptable for return.
- Any crushed corners will render a book/item unacceptable for return.
- If the spine is broken, or the book falls open on its own the book is unacceptable for return.
- Any visible creases on the cover or any pages will render a book unacceptable for return.
