Our ultimate goal is to enable these children to return to their communities and contribute to society as self-reliant citizens. Also, we are striving to address, whenever possible, other issues affecting daily life such as health care, environment, socio-economic aspects and women's issues. To achieve these goals, we hope to encourage the formation of various local groups across the world to reach out to larger sections of the population. In addition at the Abhilasha Project, we believe in supporting and cooperating with persons and groups already engaged in similar activities. We also hope to provide opportunities to individuals living outside India who wish to participate in Abhilasha activities within the country.
