The above links are worth-while financial aid opportunities for clubs to use when preparing events. Take a look and apply! There is no harm in asking!

The fund exists to ensure that all aspects of the university experience can be made to be accessible.
- event planning
- promotion
- communication formats
- event execution
- transportation
- physical accessibility
- adaptive technological requirements
- elections
- debates, and so on.
Even food at events can be made to be more accessible for all dietary restrictions; such requests may be considered for funding.
However, the fund exists to cover incremental costs of accessibility; it will not cover regular costs associated with event planning.
It is encouraged that clubs contact the Coordinator of the Centre for Students with Disabilities (csd@sfuo.ca; www.csd.sfuo.ca) to best determine accessibility logistics and what kinds of accessibility accommodations can be made. A consultation before applying may clarify what your event may require in terms of accessibility.
