Student Groups

Notice has been received by the Student Federation of intention to create a new Federated Body, as per section 2.4 of the SFUO Constitution. This new Federated Body would include all students who have Computer Science (CSI), Electrical Engineering (ELG), Software Engineering (SEG) and Computer Engineering (CEG) as their primary designation. It would regroup them all as the School of Information Technology and Engineering Student Association (SITESA).

The draft constitution is located here.

If you wish to involve yourself in the committee to campaign in favor, please contact Ted Horton.

If you wish to create a committee to campaign against, please contact the Vice President of University Affairs of the SFUO, Ted Horton.

Notice for involvement on either side must be received by September 16th.

The campus is crawling with activity! If you want to bring forward ideas for events, campaigns, recreational activities or any other initiative… you’ll find it’s easier to build upon what already exists.

Join your Student Association! It is federated with the SFUO and represents students of your faculty or program. You can volunteer or work with the student media on campus and gain some valuable experience. There is also OPIRG that is always looking for  new dedicated volunteers!

You’d be surprised how many students share your interests and opinions on this campus… all you have to do is to find them!
