There are so many ways to get knowledge on top of your university classes. In an environment like the uOttawa campuses (don't forget RGN and Lees campuses!) whether you like science, art or engineering, there are plenty of opportunities like:

Volunteering in a club, faculty association, student media or in the SFUO, gives you great networking and learning opportunities

Working within the Student Federation gets you amazing, hands-on experience that is extremely valuable on your resume. On top of that, it's a fun, engaging, and bilingual environment!
 
Elections are also a great way to get involved in student politics, student activism and community work.
