Volunteer

Every year, hundreds of dedicated students volunteer on campus in a variety of groups, clubs, services, departments and associations. Some of the most rewarding experiences you can have while in university are from volunteering!

Would you like to organize social events with your Federated Body (Faculty association)? Would you like to give back to the community  by working on green initiatives with the Fed? Would you like to bring social change on campus through empowering and engaging activism campaigns? Would you like to support your Student Federation to achieve all of its goals?

Check out the volunteering opportunities this campus has to offer! You'd be surprised how much you can learn outside of the classroom.

If you can't pick just one or two, you can always be one of our precious general SFUO volunteers by filling out THIS FORM.

Co-Corricular Record

The SFUO, in partnership with SASS’ new Experiential Learning Service, provides you with the opportunity to have volunteer service that you perform both on and off campus recognized on an official university document called the Co-Curricular Record (CCR).  To find out more, click here!

The CCR is a university document that records approved and verified volunteer activities undertaken by students.  The documents needed to participate in the program are below. If you have any questions, please contact Raquel Duerksen, your Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@sfuo.ca .
