Rebecca M - Service Coordinator

My name is Rebecca and I’m Foot Patrol’s Coordinator for the 2009-2010 school year and I’m very excited to lead the staff and volunteer team in another successful year of patrolling, promoting safety and being part of the university community!  We’ve got lots of great plans for the year like our annual Safety Blitz (October 29 – 30) and we’re going to amp up volunteer appreciation!  I’m studying History and Economics, I love skating on the canal, strawberries and F&S breakfasts! If you’re not part of the Foot Patrol team yet come join us for a fantabulous year, and if you’re a returning volunteer then spread the word – Foot Patrol rocks!

Ambre A. – Head Dispatcher/RGN Supervisor

My name is Ambre and I am Foot Patrol’s Head Dispatcher/RGN Supervisor for the 2009-2010 school year. I am really excited for this year! I have a lot of project involving dispatcher appreciation and the service at RGN. . I have been a volunteer since last year and was awarded new volunteer of the year.  My goal for this year is to obtain more walks at RGN than last year! I am in my fourth year in Biology and I still love it. I also love Smarties, when it rains at night and biking to school! I can’t wait to start training new patrollers and dispatcher!

Laura B. – Operations Supervisor

Hi! I'm Laura and I'm the Operations Supervisor for Foot Patrol during the 2009- 2010 school year. I'm in my final year of Leisure studies and enjoy the time I have spent in Ottawa meeting new people and learning new things. I'm very excited to be a member of the staff and assist in the smooth running of the service. I have been a dedicated Foot Patrol Volunteer for the past two years and I’m excited to use the experiences I have had to make this year a great one for everyone! I can't wait for the good times and exciting volunteering to start!

Lisa L.– Human Ressources Supervisor

Hey everybody, my name’s Lisa and I’m the H.R. Supervisor for the school year of 2009-2010. I organize the volunteer recruitment, interviews, and training. I’m currently doing a specialized major in French-English-Spanish translation with a minor in Spanish. I love languages, I know five (French, English, Vietnamese, Sign Language and Spanish) and I love to travel =). If you want to volunteer, just come to the Foot Patrol office and fill out an application! Hopefully I’ll see you there =)

Mélanie B. – Volunteer Event Supervisor

So I’m Melanie, the volunteer events supervisor for Foot Patrol this year.
I’m in 3rd year, Religious Studies and Psychology and I’m originally from Sudbury, Ontario. I love the Beatles, eating popcorn and my family. Here at Foot Patrol, I pretty much handle the fun stuff like planning the events, volunteer appreciation and, of course, snacks. We always have lots of cool things planned so it’ll definitely be an excellent year. And, you know, since I pretty much equal fun, good times are guaranteed to be had by all.
